Første Bowmore som ikke er koldfiltreret. Lagret på bourbon fade. The first Bowmore of its type ever released. Outstanding, diffrent Bowmore Flavour. Bottled straight from the cask at 51.8 pct alc/vol. Distilled in 1989, bottled at 16 years old. The result is a Bowmore light straw in colour; the aromas are complex-candied fruits, toffee and marzipan, bound together with the distinctive Bowmore smokiness. On the palate it is suprisingly delicate with hints of vanilla, soft fruit and light peat. The finish is light, elegant and smooth.

Peter: 94,0 Den første ikke koldfiltrerede aftapning fra Bowmore. Super. Bowmore er fremragende - også fra bourbonfade. Nye sherryfade er dog bedre - det viser 1990 udgaven fra samme serie tydeligt. (12 Feb 2010)
